Dorreen™ Saffron is a family-run business that has brought the world the finest saffron since 2001.
Named after the daughter of the company's founder, Hamid Rahbar, Dorreen™ Saffron was born out of a deep love for saffron and a passion for the culture that has cherished it for millennia.
By packaging the precious saffron and distributing it in the United Arab Emirates, the company has made this premium product accessible to everyone, resulting in partnerships with local and major retailers such as Carrefour and Spinneys.
The real breakthrough came when our product was accepted as a souvenir travel retail item by Dubai Duty-Free, introducing saffron to a global audience. With many consistent great reviews, the company decided to rebrand and open its own online retail channel, making the products accessible to anyone.

Our saffron is sourced from private farmers in a region renowned for its ideal climate and nutrient-rich soil, providing perfect conditions for growing the world’s most premium Crocus Sativus (saffron flower).
We are dedicated to supporting local farmers, visiting them during the saffron harvesting season to ensure their crops are exported.
We also assist them in adopting modern farming methods, such as organic farming, and obtaining verified certifications from government authorities.
